Faliraki

Explore Faliraki, Greece

Faliraki (Greek: Φαληράκι) is the primary seaside resort village on the Greek island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese. It is situated on Faliraki Bay, on the northeastern coast, about 14 km south of the town of Rhodes and 10 km southeast of the airport. It is part of the municipality of Kallithea, located approximately 6 km away.

Faliraki is a popular tourist destination with a 5 km stretch of sandy beach and 12 FEE Blue Flags. At the southern end of the beach lies the official naturist beach of Mandomata, just 2 km from Hercules Hotel. The beach is organized, well-known across Europe, and even features a seaside taverna. It’s one of the few designated nudist beaches in Greece, offering a peaceful and respectful environment for naturism lovers.

Faliraki has become a cosmopolitan, vibrant tourism center, welcoming visitors of all nationalities and age groups. The area features one of the the largest water park in Europe, located just 3 km from the hotel, a modern bowling park, a local history park, and a fun-park for families and children — all within or near the center of Faliraki.

The town center, especially during July and August, is lively with families and younger visitors. Along the beachfront, there are traditional taverns, international restaurants (Chinese, Mexican, Italian, British), bars, cafés, and tourist shops.

Just 1 km from the hotel, the picturesque fishing harbor of St. Apostolos serves as a morning hub of local activity. Here, fishing boats unload their daily catch, and day cruises depart for Lindos (35 km to the south), Rhodes Town (14 km to the north), and other scenic coastal destinations.
